  • Five years of related full-time equivalent non-teaching work experience related to the subject areas teaching required.

  • OR Master’s Degree in any field and a minimum combination of three years of relevant teaching experience and industry experience;

General Requirements, plus competency in software taught

BA 9703 Income Tax Prep
Basic Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, plus CPA or Enrolled Agent or Oregon Tax Consultant license.

BA 9706 Income Tax Prep: Advanced
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, plus three years recent experience in preparing or auditing tax returns required (per Oregon Administrative Rules). In addition,current valid CPA or Enrolled Agent or Oregon Tax Consultant license required.

Instructors shall meet one of the following sets of criteria:

OR

  • hold a post baccalaureate certificate in accounting or a bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business-related field; completed at least 12 quarter hours of accounting credits (undergraduate or graduate); and over three years of full-time equivalent non-teaching accounting work experience. Teaching experience is preferred.

  • hold a post baccalaureate certificate in accounting or a bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business-related field; completed at least 30 quarter hours of accounting credits (undergraduate or graduate); and over three years of full-time equivalent non-teaching accounting work experience and CPA or CMA licensing. Teaching experience is preferred.
