Past Features

November feature: research help

You can schedule an appointment to get individual time with a librarian in the temporary Rock Creek library. A reference librarian is like a tutor for finding and citing information. They can work with you on coming up with a research topic or question; finding credible and useful information on the web or in a library database; evaluating sources and citing them.

Reference librarians are also available for drop in research help,

  • Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 5 pm in the temporary Rock Creek library (Building 3, Room 225)
  • Monday – Thursday from 12 to 2 pm in the Student Learning Center (Building 7, Room 218)

If you need help right away, you can chat with a librarian 24/7. You can also email a librarian. Visit Contact Us for additional details.

October feature: course reserves

In the temporary Rock Creek Library you’ll find items set aside by instructors for use by PCC students. These range from books, to solution sets, to videos/DVDs, to Biology models. Most items will need to be used in the library.

You can learn more about the PCC Library course reserves collection on our website.

September feature: student equipment

The temporary Rock Creek Library has a wide variety of technology for student checkout. The equipment collection includes laptops and Chromebooks, wifi hotspots, cameras, headphones, and more.

The Library also has a collection of adaptive technology for checkout and Accessible Education and Disability Resources has additional adaptive equipment available.
