My family is from Romania. My sister, brother, and parents were born in Romania. I was born in Vancouver, Washington. For me, I love my parents and I love my sister and my brother…. It’s sad for me that my brother and sister don’t come to my house very often. It’s hard for me to be separated from them. My brother lives in Chicago and works as an architect. My sister lives in Portland and she’s very busy. She’s a physical therapist. My mom is a dental assistant and works at OHSU. My dad works for BPA. He has a lot of work to do there. He also works for the Romanian Times newspaper as an editor. I graduated from high school in Tualatin. Right now I’m in my third year in the transition program. I really miss my mates [from high school]. I’m so excited to be in this program. It will make my future. Maybe a new house or apartment with my friend Isaac. We graduated from high school together. I want to be a chef and cook and make things. I want to do all kinds of things. Sometimes I wish I could be invisible but I can’t. I need to see my family and my friends. Sometimes I think they don’t see me.
