Emergency Broadband Benefit

Eligible households can now apply for the Emergency Broadband Benefit. This is a temporary federal program designed to help families and households who are struggling during the pandemic to get online. It provides discounts on internet cost and the potential for a discount of up to $100 towards the purchase of a tablet, laptop or desktop computer. Households can apply in three ways:

  • Contact your preferred participating broadband provider directly to learn about their application process.
  • Go to GetEmergencyBroadband.org to apply online and to find participating providers near you.
  • Call 833-511-0311 for a mail-in application, and return it along with proof of eligibility to:
