PCC Library Resources and Help When Off-Campus

Need a laptop or other resources?

Students, if you need help getting a laptop or other resources while PCC Library is closed, check the following link:

When PCC Library is closed, or you need to work remotely, the Library can provide assistance in a number of ways.

Get help 24/7

  • Do you need help with research? You can email or chat with a librarian from any remote location.
  • PCC Librarians are available for chat during regular library hours, but at other times you may be chatting with a librarian from a different library.
  • Students can make an appointment for an online research help consultation with a librarian. Appointments can be scheduled at Research Help Appointments.

Online materials and tools

Renew books online

  • Many PCC items can be renewed for up to six weeks unless the items are requested by another person. Some items cannot be renewed.
  • See Renew an Item for detailed instructions on how to renew your checked out items by first signing into your account.

Returning materials

  • Please help us by not returning any items that you have currently checked out. You will not be charged for late returns. Due dates will be extended and fines will be forgiven. Any current requests that are available for pick up will stay that way until the library reopens.
