Grade change on academic records appeal

If you experienced a sudden, and extenuating circumstances beyond your control that prevented you from meeting the withdrawal, or grading option deadlines (see Academic Calendar), you may appeal for an exception to have your transcript updated.

If you are seeking a transcript change, follow the process below:

Email the following to the PCC Registrar at PCCRegistrar@pcc.edu.  Include the following information:

  1. Name
  2. PCC ID
  3. Email Address
  4. Term
  5. Year
  6. Course ID (Example: MTH 95, WR 121, etc)
  7. CRN (5 digit number)
  8. In essay form, answers to the following questions:
    1. What happened?
    2. When did it happen?
    3. Why are you appealing?
    4. Which of the following is the reason for the reason for the appeal:
      • Hardship
      • Personal illness, or injury; medical documentation required, and may include one of the following:
        • A notice from your physician stating you are under their care
        • Hospitalization receipt, etc.
        • Note, you do not need to share the type of illness
      • Illness, or injury of an immediate family member; medical documentation required, and may include one of the following:
        • A notice from your physician stating you are under their care
        • Hospitalization receipt, etc.
        • Note, you do not need to share the type of illness
      • Required job transfer out of the area (distance learning courses are not eligible);
        • Verification on company letterhead required
      • Someone in your family has passed away; documentation required, and may include one of the following:
        • Funeral pamphlet
        • Published notice of death
        • Certificate of Death
      • Military call to duty; documentation required, and may include one of the following:
        • A copy of the Letter of Orders
        • How much notice did you receive for the call to duty?
        • How long of a notice to duty did you receive?
      • Other, Please Explain
