PCC ID numbers
The PCC record-keeping system creates a unique, randomly-generated identification number for students, staff, and faculty. This minimizes the risk of ID fraud, protects privacy, and complies with state and federal regulations.
The ID starts with the letter G, so it’s often called your “G Number”.
How to find your ID number
Log in to MyPCC and click My personal profile on the home tab. Your number is also on your student ID card: see more about student ID cards.
About social security numbers
PCC requests social security numbers at the time of application for a variety of reasons related to record-keeping and financial aid. Social security numbers are not used as student ID numbers. For more information, see how PCC uses social security numbers.
