Consent to release confidential information

PCC follows state and federal laws and FERPA regulations that apply to student records. All information in our records that is personally identifiable to a student is confidential. Confidential information can be released only with the student’s consent or with a lawful court order. Student information may be shared among college faculty and staff who have a legitimate educational interest. See more about student record privacy policies.

To give permission to release any part of your student record to a third party, submit the consent to release form:

  1. Log in to the MyPCC home tab
  2. Click consent to release, under quick links

You can also complete the consent to release form and return it to Student Services Navigation. A consent to release authorization will remain in effect until the student invalidates it by completing a new form or deleting permissions online.

Questions about student privacy can be sent to pccregistrar@pcc.edu.
