Make your Plan

As you prepare to study abroad at PCC, consider:

  • Academic: How does studying abroad fit into your academic plan?
If you are assigned an Academic Advisor at PCC, it is a good idea to let them know of your intentions to study abroad. If you aren’t currently assigned an Academic Advisor and want to discuss how an Ed Abroad course could fit into your academic plan, visit PCC Advising to make an appointment with an academic advisor.
  • Financial: How do you plan to pay for the program?
Consider Financial Aid, scholarships, and personal savings to cover the cost of studying abroad. Contact the Financial Aid Office to review your award package by completing this Study Abroad Financial Aid Form. Check out the scholarships on our website.  If you are eligible for a Pell Grant, we strongly encourage you to apply for the Gilman Scholarship.
  • Travel Preparation: Apply for or renew your passport now. Processing a passport application can take up to 3 months, so complete it early!
