Can I still register after the term starts?
If you try to register after a class has started, you will get an error saying “Adds not allowed after 1st day”. To register on or after the first day of class, you would need to request a registration override from the instructor and register before the late registration deadline. For full-term or 8-12 week courses, late registration ends on the second Tuesday of the term. Check the academic calendar for exact dates. Learn more about late registration.

Check if you’ve met the class prerequisites:
- Prerequisite: A course you must complete first (grade of C or better; Pass/No Pass may not satisfy).
- Co-requisite: A course you must take at the same time.
- Prerequisite or Concurrent Enrollment: You can take it before or at the same time.
- Prerequisite for online classes: Before you register for your first online class at PCC, you’ll need to complete the Start Guide for Online Learners.
