Project Development and Construction

The Project Development and Construction Department’s mission is to support PCC’s mission and strategic plan by creating a college learning environment with facilities that inspire and engage recruitment and retention that optimizes student success.  This educational environment is accomplished through excellent project development and construction of facilities in collaboration with the PCC community.  These services include:

  • Supports the management of real estate assets and space portfolios
  • College-wide planning and analysis activities including periodic updates to the Facilities Plan for all PCC sites
  • Participation in the development of the PCC’s capital budget plan including facilities program definition for various PCC stakeholder groups
  • Undertake land use and college planning
  • Management of institutional space and facilities needs assessments
  • Manage the integration of college wide planning of systems such as transportation, bicycle, parking, and access management
  • Liaison to community and governmental entities related to campus planning activities
  • Provide support with smart growth development policies
  • Managing over 40 projects concurrently
  • Manage and maintain PCC plans for over 770 building documents
