Grounds
The Grounds Department’s mission is to provide a safe, welcoming and pleasant outdoor environment for students and the PCC community through the maintenance and care of campus grounds. To serve the community by enhancing campus grounds while protecting and preserving the natural environment. The fifteen member team maintains over 400 acres of grounds landscape and exterior learning environment. Services provided include snow removal, lawn care, irrigation installation and maintenance, horticultural practices, Integrated Pest Management, stormwater maintenance, new and improved water usage practices, campus forestry operations, sports turf care, equipment maintenance, and landscape design and construction.
PCC is a designated Bee Campus (4th in the country) and designated Tree Campus USA.
