Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress

Contact Carrie Weikel-Delaplane, Associate Dean of Student Development

PCC has established two standards that students must meet to demonstrate Satisfactory Academic Progress. Students must achieve the following, which will be calculated each term:

Grade Point Average
Cumulative 2.0 or higher
Attempted Credits
Successful completion of two-thirds (66.67%) of attempted credits per term

There is both an academic and financial aid impact on students that do not achieve Satisfactory Academic Progress. A summary of required interventions and appeals are outlined below. Note: Financial Aid students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress AND have additional requirements.
