DISCUSSION:

  • In the fall, Kendra will present more streamlined forms for review. This is in response to faculty suggesting there are too many forms that overlap in information and signatures. Guests were asked their opinion on the ease of forms and if a “demi-form” might be more helpful. A draft will be presented at the Fall Inservice SAC meeting.
  • Kendra passed out a matrix for members to list their years of experience, years with PCC, campus, etc., in order to balance the experience of the membership for next year.
  • Kendra handed out a “New Course Form” for review. It was decided to switch the first two paragraphs on page two and make changes so it reads:

DO SIMILAR COURSES EXIST IN THE PCC CATALOG? YES NO . IF YES, IDENTIFY:

HAVE YOU CONSULTED WITH PCC SAC CHAIRS FROM OTHER DISCIPLINES REGARDING POTENTIAL COURSE DUPLICATION, ENROLLMENT IMPACT OR CONTENT OVERLAP? YES NO . DESCRIBE:
