A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate assistance to patients who need help with daily activities, often helping with mobility, personal hygiene, dietary needs, monitoring vitals, and keeping rooms clean and tidy.

Starting out as a Certified Nursing Assistant can launch you into a long, stable healthcare career. PCC’s Institute for Health Professionals offers two levels of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN)-approved training:  CNA 1 and CNA 2. CNA 1s work in a variety of care settings, including assisted living, intermediate care, and skilled nursing facilities. CNA 2s have an expanded skill set that allows them to earn more, advance further, and reach employment opportunities in hospitals that often are not available to CNA 1s.

We offer day and evening classes to better accommodate your busy schedule.
