Vote By Mail Student Contest Winners
Mark Smith
This project was initiated by VOTE BY MAIL USA, a group of Oregon political activists who are advocating for states nationwide, to adopt vote by mail policies in the interest of equity, accessibility, and social justice. The group approached HARTS in the interest of supporting students and to enlist their creative skills to get the message out to the rest of the country. Plans are to disseminate these student art projects on a variety of social media platforms in the upcoming voting cycle.
With the generous support of VOTE BY MAIL USA, HARTS established five $300 cash prizes for outstanding entries. Those individuals receiving awards are Priscilla Daniels, Natalie Foote, Kaylee Hansen, Raye Watt, and Dean Weiler-Zilberman.
