Portland Community College | Portland, Oregon Portland Community College

Accessible Ed & Disability Resources works to ensure students who experience disability have equal opportunities at PCC. We do this by offering an individualized, student-centered accommodation process as well as advocacy and opportunities to connect with peers. We promote best practices through collaboration and engagement within the community, and offer both on-site and online services.

The accommodation process

See our accommodation process page for how to get connected with us,  and how to request accommodations each term. There is information for both credit and non-credit students.

Options for everyone

Our events page has information about tech training and awareness-building events that are open to anyone and everyone!

Check out PCC’s accessible wayfindingborrow a device, or start using tech tools that can improve access. These are things any student can do, regardless of disability status.

Resolving concerns

PCC supports you and your right to request and receive appropriate adjustments. Our process for resolving accommodation concerns outlines the way we work to address questions and concerns, and to ensure the college honors our requirements for student access as outlined in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended.

Students who feel they have been discriminated against or harassed on the basis of disability should utilize the grievance procedure available through the Office of Equity and Inclusion.
