PCC Accessible Ed & Disability Resources logoAvailable on-site and remotely

Accessible Ed & Disability Resources is operating in a hybrid model for Spring 2022. We are offering virtual meetings Monday through Friday with evening appointments upon request.

We will be onsite from 10am-2pm on the following schedule:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays at SY
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays at CA
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays at RC and SE

Visit our Virtual Lobby Monday through Thursday 10am to 2pm.

If you would like to request communication access providers such as ASL Interpreters or Transcribers for a PCC meeting or event please email cap@pcc.edu.

We’re here for you!

  • Disability counselors work with students to determine appropriate adjustments and work with faculty to implement those accommodations
  • Coordinators ensure provision of services, conversion of materials, and effective use of tools and techniques for access
  • Office assistants ensure positive connections across and throughout the college
  • Technicians, interpreters, transcribers, and aides bring skills to ensure equal access in classrooms, labs, and throughout our campuses
  • Specialists and advocates partner and collaborate to increase inclusion of disabled voices and experiences

We have office assistants and practitioners at all four campuses. These locations provide confidential meeting spaces for students to meet with counselors and specialists to determine accommodation and resolve disability barriers in an individualized manner.

The Stephanie Keyes Accessibility Center. located on the Sylvania Campus, is used for coordination of communication access and technology related services. We use the space for planning, training, and production of alternate format materials.

Our office assistants are the front line contacts who schedule appointments and answer general questions. All AEDR office assistants are equipped to schedule appointments for students at any location, or via a remote connection. Our tech team also works across all locations and can be reached at access-tech-group@pcc.edu or by phone at 971.722.TECH.

Stephanie Keyes Accessibility Center

The Stephanie Keyes Accessibility Center was named in honor of a former student who provided Accessible Ed & Disability Resources with a generous endowment. This brief presentation was created and shared during our naming ceremony and gives some additional context. The center provides space for coordination, production, training, and awareness building. It is where we produce accessible e-text, braille, tactile graphics and 3d prints, but also where we coordinate ASL Interpreting and TypeWell. To learn more please visit!
