Art in the dark

In one of the few publicly accessible photography darkrooms in the metro area, students in Community Ed’s Darkroom Photography classes learn the arts and magic of transforming black and white film into prints. Camaraderie develops as film develops, and many students have taken these classes for years. Instructor Mike Riches designed the darkroom himself, drawing on his decades of experience as a photographer.
