Career Pathway Certificate: Early Education and Family Studies

  • Do you want a career path with advancement opportunities, that you can accomplish while working in the field?

The Early Education and Family Studies Career Pathway certificate is designed to prepare students with the skills and knowledge to work with young children. PCC has a nationally accredited program that prepares students to work in the early learning environment with the skills to succeed.


Average wage for early childhood education assistants is 30,000-35,000, with entry-level wages around 11.25-14/hour.

The Early Childhood Education Career Pathway Certificate leads to additional degree opportunities. Continue your education to give yourself more job opportunities and career advancement.

Is it for me?

High School graduates (and high school equivalency). Placement into MTH 58/60. If you do not meet all the placement recommendations, please contact us for other options.
