You will:
- Learn about PCC degrees and certificates (3 months – 2 years), including:
- Explore clean technology trade career paths
- Meet industry experts and local employers
- Have field trip opportunities
- Get support with the free PCC admissions process
- Connect with funding resources to pay for your training, including the SHIFT scholarship
- Build skills and gain resources for success in school and on the job
Explore careers in fleet and facilities maintenance
Automotive Service Technician
These are the experts who keep cars on the road. They diagnose problems, perform repairs, and handle routine maintenance like oil changes and brakes. They make sure vehicles are safe and reliable.
Diesel Service Technician
Diesel Techs work on powerful engines found in trucks, buses, and heavy equipment. They keep essential vehicles running, like delivery trucks and construction equipment, so goods move and projects get done.
Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Mechanics and Installers (HVAC)
HVAC technicians keep buildings comfortable year-round by installing, fixing, and maintaining heating, cooling, ducts, and refrigeration systems.
Facilities Maintenance Technician
Facilities maintenance Techs handle a little bit of everything to keep buildings running smoothly. Tasks range from maintaining heating and cooling systems, fixing plumbing leaks, and repairing doors to troubleshooting equipment when something breaks.
Pre-Trades (Construction and General Trades)
This is a starting point to enter hands-on careers in construction and skilled trades. Learn basic skills, tools, and safety while getting a feel for paths like carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and more. Pre-trades prepare you for an apprenticeship.
