Learn about the training you will need to teach online (no scheduled meetings).

POSM (Planning for Online w/Scheduled Meetings)

This is an introductory/intermediate asynchronous training that typically runs each term during weeks 2-7 (6 weeks) and weeks 7-9 (3 weeks). It is designed for instructors who teach OSM (Online w/Scheduled Meetings) courses.

BEES (Belonging, Equity, and Engagement Skills)

This is a three-week or six-week refresher training for experienced online (no scheduled meetings) faculty who have completed OIO but have never taken BEARS.

Teaching pairs

An opportunity for collegial sharing of instructional strategies with a PCC faculty colleague.

MARMOT (Methods, Approaches, and Resources for Multimodality and Online Teaching)

MARMOT is a training geared towards instructors teaching courses delivered in any combination of Online (no scheduled meetings), Online (scheduled meetings), and On campus (aka Hybrid). This is a 4 week training with synchronous and synchronous options.
