A Shout Out with Love

From the “Scrapbook” of the Clifford Walker Collection at the Paragon Gallery. Reach back to a Portland full of love, turmoil and idealism through the lens of seasoned community activist Clifford Walker. Through the pages of this military veteran, historian, artist and activists’ life find the story of a city as ripe with the desire for change as the man himself. Drop by for a day of community visioning and help us storyboard our own community scrapbook. Light snacks and beverages provided.

Clifford Walker is an artist, historian, veteran, father, grandfather, activist, and a life-long resident of our Humbolt neighborhood.

When you come to visit Mr. Walker’s collection, we invite you to bring along some of your own old film photos and tell us about them. Spend a little time over a cup of coffee or tea at our kitchen table, we will be happy to scan them while you are here and send you home with high quality digitized versions on a cd for printing or sharing with your community.

Watch a video with Clifford Walker talking about Humbolt Neighborhood.
