Testing Centers are located throughout the PCC district and provide professional testing services to the school and community. Depending on the site, a Testing Center can provide the following services:
Tests to determine your skill level for appropriate course placement. Some new students are required to take placement tests.
Exams taken under staff supervision – often for make-up tests or competency exams. Not offered Summer 2022 term.
Assistance for faculty to provide accommodations for testing, such as an aide to read the test or a distraction-reduced space. Available Spring 2022 Term, 9am-5pm, M-F, by appointment only. Accommodated exams must be scheduled at least three days in advance of testing date.
When preparing to take an exam at one of the PCC Testing Centers:
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for your scheduled exam.
- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID or a student photo ID.
- Remember that phones and personal items are not allowed in the testing rooms (a locker is provided).
