CASAS placement testing
What to bring
- Your PCC student ID number (G number). Get an ID number by completing the steps for new students.
- Official photo ID: passport, driving license, student ID, etc. If you do not have an ID, you can still take the CASAS placement test.
- If you drive to campus, you’ll need to buy a parking permit. Prepare to stay on campus for 2 to 3 hours.
CASAS placement testing schedule
Cascade
CASAS Placement tests are for students who are interested in enrolling in PCC’s Adult Ed and GED-prep classes. There are two CASAS placement tests: Math and Reading. These can be taken on the same day if time allows, or you can take them on separate days. Expect each CASAS placement test to take between 60-90 minutes.
If you are interested in taking the CASAS Placement test at Cascade Campus, please check in at one of the following times. No appointment is required. The drop-in placement testing schedule below is only for students who are not yet registered in a class. If you are already registered in a class and need to take a CASAS test, you must make an appointment at this link for Cascade.
The following dates are for students planning to attend Summer term. If you are planning to start during Fall term, please check back for more posted dates in July.

- Mondays: check-in between 2-4pm
- Tuesdays: check in between 9am-12pm
- Wednesdays: check in between 12-3pm
- Thursdays: check in between 9am-12pm
Rock Creek
CASAS Placement tests are for students who are interested in enrolling in PCC’s Adult Ed and GED-prep classes. There are two CASAS placement tests: Math and Reading. These can be taken on the same day if time allows, or you can take them on separate days. Expect each CASAS placement test to take between 60-90 minutes.
If you are interested in taking the CASAS Placement test at Rock Creek Campus, please check in at one of the times listed below. No appointment is required. The drop-in placement testing schedule below is only for students who are not yet registered in a class. If you are already registered in a class and need to take a CASAS test, you must make an appointment at this link for Rock Creek.
