COMMUNITY-BASED LEARNING EVENTS & UPDATES

DISCOVER THE DIAMOND INSIDE YOU!

Every year the Community-Based Learning Program recognizes students for their community-based learning efforts in their courses and communities. Any student that has completed a community-based learning assignment during Summer 2014, Fall 2014, Winter 2015, or Spring 2015 is eligible. The award application is available on the CBL website. CBL encourages faculty to spread the word and encourage their students to apply. Awardees will be recognized at the Annual Community-Based Learning Celebration Banquet on May 15th.

Gloves, loppers, and trash bags will be provided. Volunteers should wear long pants, long sleeved shirts, and sturdy shoes. Binoculars would be well used for wildlife viewing.
