Current CTE Teachers & Administrators

Group of three happy students working together.

Your Hard Work Matters

As a Career & Technical Education Teacher in the PACTEC Region, you are leading the way for our students to graduate.  In 2023, students who took at least 2.0 credits in a Career Technical program had a graduation rate of 95% across our region.

CTE Benefits for Students and Schools

CTE provides significant benefits for students, schools, and communities:

  • For Students: Gain marketable skills, explore careers, and earn industry-recognized certifications.
  • For Schools: Improve student engagement, increase graduation rates, and prepare students for both higher education and the workforce.
  • For Communities: Develop a skilled local workforce and create strong partnerships between schools and businesses.

High Quality Programs of Study

Throughout the life cycle of a career & technical program of study,  it’s teachers, administrators and consortium staff work together for continuous improvement of the program to provide our students with experiences in CTE that will begin to connect them with their community, career pathways and post-secondary options for their continued growth after they leave our programs.

Programs look to continuously improve for our students, keeping these program core elements in mind:

  • Access and Equity
  • Rigorous Integrated Content
  • Engaged Learning
  • Coherent Curriculum
  • Partnerships
  • Credentials
  • Facilities and Equipment
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Career Connected Learning
  • Professional Development
