Screening considerations

Our program is designed to support individuals who are new to the field and do not have extensive prior experience or education. Candidates holding four-year degrees or higher (obtained inside or outside the United States) are considered overqualified for this role and are encouraged to apply directly to relevant technical positions through the employer’s careers website. Additionally, we exercise discretion when evaluating applicants with associate degrees in engineering and related fields to ensure alignment with the role’s requirements. In addition, please be aware that current or former blue or green badges will not be considered. In general, candidates with ESOL Level 8 or higher are best positioned to succeed in Quick Start. This ensures alignment with our funding requirements and the needs of our employer partners.
