Your Partners in Student Success: Online Learning Success Coaching and the Knowledge Nook
Posted by anne.grey
Presenters: Dana Fullmer (Online Learning Coaching Coordinator) and Lisa Lam (Online Learning Success Coach)
In this presentation, Dana Fulmer and Lisa Lam share how the Online Learning Success Coaching program and the Knowledge Nook support Portland Community College students. Online coaching offers 1-on-1 support for students taking online courses, as well as students in high-demand courses like math, writing, biology, chemistry, and CIS, regardless of modality. Coaches help students build study habits, manage time, handle competing priorities, and connect with college resources. The Knowledge Nook is an open, 24/7 resource hub that provides self-service study tools, time management strategies, communication guides, and templates to help any student succeed in college.
