The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) offers a variety of Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs) designed to bring Portland Community College faculty together for peer collaboration, discipline-crossing discussions, and practical teaching strategies. Throughout the year, facilitators lead cohort-based sessions focused on inclusive pedagogy, accessibility, artificial intelligence, student well-being, active learning, and course design. Participants explore both theoretical frameworks and practical classroom workflows while earning professional development stipends and building interdisciplinary connections.
