Summary
An introduction to trauma-informed approaches in higher education. The presenters will share and discuss
foundational concepts related to trauma and how trauma and stress impact everyday interactions including
cognitive and relational processes and our ability to connect in meaningful, helpful ways with students and
colleagues. Presenters will share a selection of trauma-informed tools accompanied by reflection and
discussion time.
