Summary
Ultimately our goal as college educators is to empower students with confidence that they are capable of learning challenging concepts for their future classes and careers. In our research and experience, this comes from:
- Seeing themselves as capable learners who belong in the classroom
- Having confidence in their study skills to learn difficult material.
In this session we will share research and personal teaching experiences related to these two concepts, and collaborate with participants to brainstorm additional strategies.
