Collaborative quizzes as a learning tool that increases students’ sense of belonging: Part 2

Summary
Collaborative multiple-choice quizzes have a positive impact on student learning, engagement, and sense of belonging in community college anatomy and physiology courses. Students first completed quizzes individually, followed by a group attempt with peers in triads, during which they were required to reach consensus on each answer. Qualitative feedback indicated that students perceived the group quiz process as beneficial to both their content retention and classroom connectedness.
