These photos describe the rich history of the college, and the hard work it took to get PCC where it is today.
The PCC library is rich with art. PCC art instructors are well represented, and some well-known international and Northwest artists grace the walls. Enjoy the virtual preview, brought to you by the Friends of the Library.
The African Film Collection represents feature and documentary films from the African continent. Most of these films were made by African directors. Each year, Portland Community College is part of the Cascade Festival of African Films. To support this event, the library has purchased many of these films for use by PCC Faculty, staff and students.
The Rev John H. Jackson Collection consists of a variety of hand-written sermons, photographs, certificates and personal effects from one of the premier leaders in the African American community during the 1960s. The Cascade Library has a reading room dedicated to the Reverend John H. Jackson.
