Details about this class

This course is partially synchronous, which means that some portions of class will be completed in real-time with regular class meetings on zoom and some portions will be completed online via our D2L course shell. All class meetings are scheduled within the course shell and can be accessed under the Zoom Rooms tab in the course shell. PCC’s student help desk offers technical support/ video tutorials for our online learning platform, D2L, as well as for zoom class meetings.

D2L Brightspace: https://www.pcc.edu/help-desk/desire2learn/

Zoom meetings: https://www.pcc.edu/help-desk/zoom-student-guide/

We meet twice weekly (on zoom)

Participating in live sessions is a requirement for this course. Please make sure to schedule your time accordingly. You can also expect to commit to a minimum of 3-6 hours of coursework outside of live class sessions. If you are accustomed to face to face learning and the motivation and energy of the in-class environment, you’ll be glad to know that zoom classes and the community we can co-create within that space really helps. You’ll also want to make sure to set a schedule for yourself for your coursework (and stick to it to the best of your ability!)

**please note, it is not possible to participate in this course just by watching recorded class sessions, you must attend the real-time synchronous classes on zoom.
