Registered Apprenticeship in Oregon helps individuals earn while they learn and obtain a state authorized journey card or license once they have completed all program requirements. Registered apprenticeship programs are governed by independent bodies called Joint Apprenticeship Training Committees (JATCs). Although PCC does not run apprenticeship programs, they do partner with several Joint Apprenticeship Training Committees (JATCs) to administer industrial apprenticeship programs registered in the State of Oregon. These type of JATCs require applicants to already be employed by a participating employer.
PCC partners with JATCs that offer apprenticeships in the following trades:
- Limited Maintenance Electrician
- Stationary Engineer
- Industrial Mechanic
- Manufacturing Plant Electrician
- Limited Building Maintenance Electrician
