PORTLAND, Ore. – Working from home can be very rewarding: it allows you to spend more time with your family and set your own hours. This spring a Portland Community College online class will offer the opportunity to start your own home-based business without leaving home.

Take Start and Operate Your Own Home-Based Business to earn what you deserve: gain independence; discover tax deductions, eliminate traffic woes and office politics; and more! Instructor Helen Liatsos will show students how to develop the entrepreneurial qualities needed to succeed: motivation, discipline and creativity.

Held entirely online via the Internet, the six-week class offers the flexibility to open lessons whenever your schedule allows and features discussion boards with the instructor and other students. The class will be offered twice this spring: choose from April 19 through May 26, or May 17 through June 23. Cost is $85. To register, email ddavis@pcc.edu, or visit www.ourcoursescometoyou.com.
