Media Advisory: Student Sculpture Installation Planned for Cascade Campus

CASCADE CAMPUS – Portland Community College students from the Art department will be installing a room-encompassing sculpture from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday, March 19 in room 122 of the Fragmeier Building on the Cascade Campus, located at 705 N. Killingsworth St.The project is titled, "The Harmony of Opposition: The Appropriation of Man and His Dwelling."About 12 Students from the winter term class, Sculpture 293, are celebrating the coming of spring with this unique final project of the term. The installation will transform the Fragmeier Building room into an elaborate environment using live body casts, sound and lighting effect. The instructor is C.E. Minchin of the Cascade Campus Lower Division Transfer program.
