Creating Survivor-Centered Classrooms for Students Impacted by Gender Based Violence
- This presentation explores gender-based violence (GBV) and its profound impact on a student's academic success. It provides faculty with concrete, trauma-informed strategies to create a safe, supportive classroom environment. Educators will learn how to respond compassionately to student disclosures using the ABC Method (Acknowledge, Believe, Check-in).
