This session covers what gender based violence is, who in our community experiences it, how it shows up at PCC, and impacts on students’ academic success. You will learn concrete strategies for how to both create an environment where it is safe for students to share how gender based violence is impacting them and how to respond to disclosures of violence in a trauma-informed and survivor-centered way.
