Meet the instructor


Carolyn Waterfall, MS, LPC, is an organization and professional development trainer, coach, meeting facilitator, and licensed professional counselor based in Portland, Oregon. She is known throughout the Pacific Northwest and across the country for her inspiring and practical workshops and presentations as well as her insightful facilitation and conflict resolution skills.

Carolyn works with individuals and organizations to bring them engaging, results-oriented training and communication solutions. She specializes in leadership, management and supervisory training as well a variety of programs addressing some of today’s most critical business needs, including: Virtual Team Development, Customer Service, Work/Life Balance, Dealing with Stress, Group Facilitation, Change Management, Team-building, Conflict Resolution and more.

In addition to master’s degrees in Counseling, and Adult Education & Organization Development from the University of Oregon, Carolyn has more than 25 years experience in a wide variety of public, private and not-for-profit organizations. She is a certified mediator and Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. Carolyn is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Coach and Time Line Therapy practitioner. She has also completed post-graduate work in interpersonal neurobiology and has extensive experience using Compassionate Communication as developed by Marshal Rosenberg. She is a certified AchieveGlobal and DiSC trainer. Carolyn is also a certified Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) facilitator.
