Details about this class

Welcome to HE 251: Community & Public Health

Some things to know about our class:

  • This is an accelerated 4-credit course covering 10-11 weeks of content in only 5-6 weeks. A 4-credit course typically represents about 120 hours of total work over the term, averaging approximately 20 hours per week in this accelerated format. Staying organized and keeping up with weekly work will be important for success in the course

  • Our class is fully Online and asynchronous. There are no class meetings. Yes! We can set up 1-on-1 meetings on Zoom or phone calls as needed.
  • A Required Orientation Quiz must be completed on the first Wednesday of each week.

Students have an option between the print version and an online, less expensive ebook. When students purchase the ebook from the PCC bookstore, they will receive an email with instructions to access the book on RedShelf.

Note: eReader platforms such as VitalSource and RedShelf require you to create an account before the activation or download can be completed.
