This class introduces Microsoft Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). These programs will also be used to complete assignments related to computer concepts.
The Office 365 suite runs best on a Windows operating system. Microsoft Access does not work on Macintosh or Linux computers so non-Windows users may need to use PCC’s SplashTop program that allows access to a campus lab computer.
This is a fully online class so there are no set meeting times and you will show up to do the work when it suits your schedule. The work is due every Monday. It is important to offer some live Zoom meetings so that we can get to know each other, but this is optional. Scheduling these Zoom meetings can be really challenging because of all the different scheduling needs. Feel free to contact me during the course to request a Zoom meeting for help as needed. When requested, please state some times you can meet.
Technology

No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
