Introduces flux cored arc welding theory and techniques. Covers basic blueprint reading skills. Explores the essential variables of the gas shielded flux core (FCAW-G) process. Provides opportunities for welding and air carbon arc cutting (CAC-A) in all positions. Prerequisites: WLD 190 or department permission. (See course content and outcomes.)
