Bienvenidos to ED 136 - Learning with Technology!

I am Ceci de Valdenebro the instructor for this class. I am glad you are here!

Learning with Technology (ED 136) explores existing and emerging educational technology being used in libraries and classrooms.  Focuses on using educational technology to complement and enhance learning activities. Discusses basic principles of instructional design and adaptive technologies.

This course offers flexibility based on your learning needs and experience level. Each week, you will work independently on course projects, applying key concepts at your own pace.

If you need support at any point, you are encouraged to contact the instructor and attend the optional Zoom support sessions on Mondays at 5:00 p.m. These sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions, clarify concepts, and receive guidance on assignments.

If you feel confident completing the projects on your own, attendance at the Zoom sessions is not required—you are welcome to work independently. The goal of this course is to support your learning in the way that works best for you.

As your instructor, please know that my first priority is your well being so that you can be ready to learn. Therefore, if there is anything that is affecting your ability to participate in the class, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am here to support you and I will do my best to connect you to resources.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
