Understanding Your Medicare and Medicaid Benefits in 2026

More than 900,000 Oregonians are on Medicare. It seems that every year, the Medicare system provides complex and confusing challenges for beneficiaries. Understanding new and changing benefits offered every year leaves consumers scratching their heads. This workshop will educate and inform Medicare consumers with easy-to-understand explanations of the Medicare system. This presentation offers time to answer questions, including:

• Medicare changes and benefits for 2026

• How to lower the price of expensive prescription benefits

• How to use ALL your benefits

• A check list for your lifestyle, including important questions to ask yourself before choosing a plan, or switching to a new plan

• Self-advocacy tools for dealing with health systems
