ENGR100 Exploring Engineering

Provides an overview of the engineering profession, covering major engineering disciplines and their key areas of focus. Emphasizes ethical principles, including safety, sustainability, and social responsibility. Introduces team-based projects to practice collaboration skills and inclusive practices. Explores fundamental techniques in problem solving, modeling, and programming, along with effective communication of technical information in written, oral, and visual formats. Prerequisites: MTH 95 or any MTH course for which MTH 95 is a prerequisite or equivalent placement. Prerequisite/Concurrent: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115. (See course content and outcomes.)
