Portland Community College offers certificates and degrees in civil, electronic, and mechanical engineering technology. We also offer freshman and sophomore course work for students who wish to transfer to a four year University.
Two engineering paths
You will need decide whether you plan to become an engineering technician by completing your degree at PCC, or become an engineer by starting your transfer coursework at PCC.
Since the classes are generally not interchangable, how do you decide which career path to take?
- If you want to be job-ready in two years, becoming a technician by getting your Associate degree at PCC would be the right path for you.
- If you want to become an engineer, you can prepare to earn a Bachelor of Science with coursework at PCC.
