Apply to Bioscience Technology
To join this program, you must apply for admission. This moderately competitive program admits 22 students in fall and spring terms. You don’t need a science background to apply. Applications are accepted year-round. Apply by May 15 for best chance of admission into our fall cohort and by February 15 for admission into our spring cohort. Applicants submitting after these dates will be placed on a waitlist and reviewed and admitted to the program as space allows.

Consult with a program advisor to review prior credits and readiness or develop an academic plan to earn a Bioscience Technology certificate or degree.

Profile and recommendation
Watch for an email from the program department chair regarding the next steps in the admissions process, which will include creating a personal profile and providing a letter of recommendation. Begin thinking about who will serve as your reference – we suggest asking a recent instructor or work supervisor to provide the letter of recommendation. Instructions for the personal profile and letter of recommendation will be emailed to you following review of your initial application.
After you apply
After you apply, watch for an email from the faculty department chair confirming that your application is under review. All communication about admission will be sent to your PCC email address.

Applicants are evaluated based on:
- Successful completion of prerequisite coursework
- Interest and readiness for a career in the bioscience industry as indicated in the application materials
