Photos and Story by

February is national #CTEMonth where Portland Community College and other institutions spotlight their important career & technical education programs.

PCC in particular has a commitment to build a well-trained and supported workforce for industry. A great example is the recent donation of a Horizon Air Bombardier Q400 to the college’s Aviation Science and Aviation Maintenance Technology programs for hands-on training on modern engine and avionics technologies. With plenty of jobs in the aviation industry, both programs are welcoming new students who can train on this gem of a plane!

For more information about the programs, visit Aviation Maintenance Technology or Aviation Science webpages.
